Celebrating Family Maker Dottie Gerstenfeld:

After raising five children, Dottie, a baby-boomer single mother, saw an ad that said
180, 000 children in Pennsylvania need a forever family. This prompted her to do something meaningful with her now empty nest- she became a foster parent to two teenaged boys in 2005. With the boys flourishing under Dottie’s care, she was recently named their legal parent making their forever family permanent. Epiphany honored Dottie with a special award on Sunday July 15th and presented her with a family package that included a family membership to the Philadelphia Zoo, Phillies tickets and a family photo portrait shoot.
