After two years of the pandemic, Epiphany House is taking on exciting new initiatives. We are very excited to announce that after a rigorous year long process we have been approved by Bethany Christian Services as a transitional foster care home. The children placed by Bethany in this program are children who have crossed our southern USA border unaccompanied. They have fled very traumatic situations for safety. Epiphany House will be accepting our first placements after this September 12th.
In Spring of this year, we began a partnership with Camp To Belong River Valley. Camp To Belong brings together birth siblings separated through foster placements or adoption. Epiphany House is a corporate sponsor of Camp To Belong. Our own, Rosey spent a week there with her two birth sisters. We continue to support The Mother's Home in Darby, PA, a safe haven for vulnerable pregnant women in crisis. In July, We purchased backpacks and pajamas for Bethany foster care children. In June our family gathered in North Myrtle Beach for a week and reconvened in the NY Adirondack mountains the last week of July. We hosted a party in August to welcome a new family member, baby Vinny Adragna son of our niece, Megan Tennity and her spouse Rashel Adragna from Southern CA August 28th our newest grandchild, Alice Joseph McCunney was born. She is the fourth daughter to our son Kevin and daughter-in-law, Theresa McCunney
